YB2 Series explosion-proof type asynchronous motor-B5

        YB2 series flames-proof motors are the basic series motors developed,designed and manufactured into total-enclosed self-fan-cooled squirrel-cage high-efficiency explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous by our company .This series motors have many remarkable features such as excellent performance,reliable operation,vibration and noise values lower than the like products etc.and confirm to environmrntal requirements.

          For this series motors ,the output ratings and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of IEC standards and the correlation between them basically agrees with DIN42673 of German standards. The motors are easy to complete with export machinery and equipment and to supply as spare accessories in the import equipment.

          This series motors are designed and manufactured into flame-proof type and the flame-proof property conforms to China National Standards :GB3836.1-2000 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres part 1:General Requirement GB3836.2-2000 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres part 2: Flame proof Enclosure d and standards IEC 79-1,BS4683 and EN 50018. The explosion protection markd are ExdI,ExdIIAT4 and ExdIIB T4. They are safe to use in the locations where there are explosive mixtures of gas and vapor-air.

Exdmotors are safe for use in the non-mining surfaces of underground coal mines where the explosive mixtures of methane or coal-dust are present.

           ExdI4 and ExdIIBT4 motors are safe for use separately in plants where the explosive mixtures of IIA and IIB class ,T1,T2,T3 or T4 are present.

 Construction Features

1.    Protection degree of motors :IP55 ( Junction box:IP55)

2.    The cooling form of the motors: IC411

3.    The stator windings are of class F insulation and such feature can ensure a large margin of safety in temperture rise and long service life.

4.    The sator windings are wound with polyester enamel round wire of high strength and then treated with progress of vaccum-pressure impregnation(VPI), to make them become a solid integral .Therefore, the winding insulation is excellent in electrical and mechanical properities ,moisture resistance and thermal stability.

5.    The rotors are of cast-aluminum, and dynamically balanced to make the motor operate,smoothly with small vibration and low noise.

6.    The series motors are provided with low noise and low vibration bearings special for motors.The bearing with inner and outer covers are used and retaining rings at bearing position are equipped on shafts to prevent the rotor efficiently from moving axially.

3.    Operation mode:Continuous running duty-type S1

4.    Normal working conditions: The altitude is not higher than 1000m above sea level. The ambient temperature,which is subject to seasonal variation ,but no more than 40^oC.

Constructions and Mounting Arrangments

         The mounting arrangements of series YB2 motors conform to the China National Standard GB 997 Code of MotorsConstruction and Mounting Arrangements and IEC Publication 34-7.Three basic constructions are available as follows:

B3with foot mounted and flangeless;

B5with flange mounted and footless;

B35with both foot and flange mounted.

         Based on three constructions mentioned above ,this series motors can be modified into 12 Constructions and mounting arrangements.
