        Series Y2 Three Phase Induction Motors are  designed and manufactures into

totally enclosed self-fan-cooled motors with squirrel cage rotors. This series motors

have many remarkable features such as compact construction, lightweight, reliable

operation, solid construction and fine looking as well as high efficiency, high starting

torque, low noise and long service life,etc.

       Series Y2motors for general-purpose uses can be used to drive all kinds of 

machines and equipment, which have no special requirements. For this series motors,

the output ratings and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of IEC

Publications and the correlation between them agrees with DIN 42673 of Germany.

The motors are easy to complete in the export machinery and equipment and supply

as spare accessories in the import equipment. Special requirments should be stated

when ordering. 

Stators 

       The stator cores are laminated from the oxygenated high-quality magnetic sheet

steel. The magnetic wire adopts polyamide enamel wire and the insulation the

premium discontinuous insulation. The completely wound stator cores are

vacuum-pressure impreg-nated to a solid integral. Then they are tested according to

JB/Z294 and GB2423.4. This process enables the windings to possess excellent

electrical and mechanical properties, high moisture-resistant ability and thermal

stability.

       The insulation is Class F, but the temperature rise limit is specified as that of

Class B. Thus makes the motors be of a large margin of safety in temperature-rise and

long service life.

Rotors

       From the oxygenated high-quality magnetic sheet steel are laminated the rotor

cores which are cast aluminum and fixed on the shaft by means of hot fit. They are

well calibrated wity dynamic balance to make motors operate smoothly with little

vibration.

       The shafts are made of 45# steel. The motors are manufactured with only one

shaft extension end. If customers require the motors with double shaft extension ends,

please specify them when ordering. 

Terminal Boxes

       The terminal boxes are on the just right top of the motors (frame size H80~180

andH355) or on the right side of motors (frame size H200~315)seeing from the

driving end. Special requirements should be stated when ordering. Aterminal board or

fixing board is equipped in the terminal boxes. There are six terminals in the terminal

boxes, suitable for motors direct-on-line starting or Y-the bearings in good lubricating condition.

Fans and Cowls

       The fans of whole series motors are keyed on to the shafts to ensure reliable

operation.

       The cowls are made of fabricated steel. On a prerequisite that it should prevent

from the ingress of solid substances of certain size, they enable the motors to get

maximum area of ventilation in order to form adequate air current. The cowls are of

fine looking and good steel strength. The degree of protection is IP54.
