       With high performance,efficiency and longevity Series Y2 Three Phase Induction Motors-B3(electric motors)

        Series Y Three Phase Induction Motors are  designed and manufactures into

totally enclosed self-fan-cooled motors with squirrel cage rotors. This series motors

have many remarkable features such as compact construction, lightweight, reliable

operation, solid construction and fine looking as well as high efficiency, high starting

torque, low noise and long service life,etc.

        Series Y motors for general-purpose uses can be used to drive all kinds of 

machines and equipment, which have no special requirements. For this series motors,

the output ratings and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of IEC

Publications and the correlation between them agrees with DIN 42673 of Germany.

The motors are easy to complete in the export machinery and equipment and supply

as spare accessories in the import equipment. Special requirments should be stated

when ordering.

The altitude is up to 1000m..

The ambient temperature subjects to seasonal variation but not exceeding 40^oC

The lowest ambient temperature is -15^oC.

Mean highest relative humidity in the most humid month is 90%. Meanwhile,

the mean lowest temperature in the month does not exceed 25^oC.

Voltage and Frequency

The rated voltage is 220V, 380V, 400V, 415V, 660V, 220/380V, 380/660V, and

660/1140V. The rated frequency is 50Hz. For the motors with other voltage and

frequency, please state when ordering.

Note: Motors with special frequency, voltage and ambient temperature can also

be supplied if required when ordering.

Protection degree of the motors is IP44, and IP54 or IP55 can also be supplied

according to customers required.

Construction & Mounting Arrangements

      There are three basic types of mounting and construction for Series Y motors:

      B3 Foot-mounted and flangeless; 

      B35 Both foot and flange mounted;

      B5  Flange-mounted and footless.

The three basic types of mounting and construction mentioned above can be

modified into 12 modes .

Ordering Requirements

       When ordering, please specify the following items:

frame size, output power, synchronous speed, voltage, frequency, mounting arrangement and outlet mode of lead etc.

For instance, the motor with 5.5kW,2 poles, frame with foot-mounted and

flangless and side entry should be expressed as follows:

  Y132S1-2, 5.5kW,3000r/min, 380V,50Hz and side entry.
